Manila Fashion Festival (MFF) has once again featured clothing collections of distinguished fashion designers like Rhett Eala, Anthony Ramirez, Cheetah Rivera, Mark Tamayo and Mark Bumgarner and other homegrown talents from budding to seasoned designers.
Directed by Art Personas and founded by its CEO Ronnie Cruz, Manila Fashion Festival kicked last April 11 and the new venue EDSA Shangri-La served as the launchpad with its new partners this year. The fashion show series, in partnership with upscale online retailer, Zalora became a platform for e-commerce in particular. Zalora is building a micro-site for all the designer collections and while the clothes are coming out of the runway, people can actually pre-order the pieces available.
As for other partnerships, the fashion show series started bringing in design schools to show student collections. This year, MFF partnered with SoFA (School of Fashion and the Arts) and iAcademy to get access to the youngest and new breed of talents.
